Kenny has been a professional cartoonist for over twenty years and is centrally based in his adopted city of Peterborough in Cambridgeshire. He was born in Belfast but relocated to the mainland with his parents who settled in Bedfordshire. He was too young at the time to acquire an Ulster accent. Commencing his working life as a compositor in the printing trade, Kenny soon found that his skills as an illustrator quickly marked him out as a candidate for the art department and where he soon established himself as a cartoonist/caricaturist. He took employment in the Middle East for a few years in Saudi Arabia with Aramco running a graphic arts service in Dhahran. There he supplied cartoons for the Health and Safety Departments. He was awarded "Best Oil Related Safety Poster" by NSC, Chicago during his stay in Arabia. Following his return to the UK he worked in the newspaper industry and has supplied artwork to many and varied clients both in commercial and private sectors. He has appeared on BBC Television providing live caricatures and can include British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Stena Line, Houses of Parliament, DHL, Sea France, British Sugar, Tate and Lyle, Singapore Airlines, John Major and Edwina Curry amongst many other "happy" customers.
